Original, unpublished submissions to Intraspection are accepted year-round. Queries are welcome, but complete manuscripts, in the broadest sense of the term, are preferred. All submissions are acknowledged within 2-3 weeks of receipt, and if the editor determines a manuscript appropriate for review, the double-blind peer review process will be completed in roughly 12 weeks; after which authors will be notified of the editor’s decision and, if applicable, suggestions for revision. Accepted manuscripts are published when ready, though for archival purposes “articles” will be gathered into two issues (Fall and Spring) each year.
To be considered for review, manuscripts and projects should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. The aim and scope of Intraspection affords various possible formats for manuscripts. Generally, they should be sent as attachments. If a manuscript’s format does not allow for email attachment, the editor will work with authors to enable review.
Call for Submissions: We welcome contributions for Intraspection’s inaugural issue, Fall 2018. The theme is open to any feasible content and form that, as described in the journal’s scope, gives both creator and audience affectual and intellectual pleasure. For full consideration, manuscripts for Fall 2018 should be submitted by November 1, 2017, but submissions received after that date will still be considered as time permits.
Call for Special Issue Proposals: Intraspection will consider ideas for future Special Issues. Proposals should include the theme(s), aim(s), and name(s) of guest editor(s), and sent to email@example.com.
